Black is Back: Every Black Dress from the BRIT Awards 2024

The start of the year has been filled with plenty of awards shows already and honestly, we don’t know how the stars keep up and look absolutely jaw-dropping at every single one. This time it was the BRIT Awards’ time to shine, taking place at the O2 Arena in London. 

With the British music awards known for showcasing some iconic and extravagant looks, we had high hopes for the fashion that would take the red carpet. But it was only particular theme that took the spotlight this year – the LBD.  

That’s right, even our favourite female artists and A-listers love the power of a black dress. Including host Maya Jama and the night’s biggest winner Raye, the black dress was the choice for several artists at the event. Take a look at our complete list of all the striking styles below. 

Kylie Minogue 

Winner of the Global Icon award, Kylie Minogue walked the carpet in a custom gown by Alexandre Vauthier with a ruffled asymmetric skirt and velvet bodice detail. Can she get any more iconic? 

Raye

The night’s biggest winner, Raye, with her record-breaking success, showed up in an off-the-shoulder Fendi Couture black dress which sparkled just as much as she did on the night. 

Maya Jama

One of the evening’s hosts, Maya Jama wore a custom Harris Reed design for one of her many looks of the night. Featuring a mesh corset and dramatic fishtail style.   

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa attended in a sleek figure-hugging black leather dress by Versace which effortlessly complimented her figure.  

AJ Odudu

AJ Odudu styled a backless sequin black maxi dress by Mônot with a flattering keyhole cutout detail.  

Tate McRae

One of the performers from the night, Tate McRae also opted for a sequin gown in a simple maxi silhouette by Dolce & Gabbana.   

Vick Hope

Vick Hope turned up in a glittering Versace black dress with a mesh corseted bodice and straight low waist skirt detail.    

Becky Hill

Becky Hill flaunted a daring and revealing cutout floor-length dress. If you’ve got it, flaunt it, right?    

Laura Whitmore

Laura Whitmore showed up in an asymmetric black dress with a bold thigh high split and diamante embellishments with cutout details.     

Marisa Abela 

So, this isn’t exactly a dress but Marisa Abela still matched the black theme and arrived in a custom Miu Miu polka dot black co-ord with a front bow detail. 

Joanne Froggatt 

Joanne Froggatt walked the carpet in a black leather maxi dress with a high leg split and one shoulder feature. 

Eve 

Eve stunned in a latex black maxi dress by Atsuko Kudo with a blazer style collared wrap front and long sleeves.
